Group Training

  • 1-hour sessions once a week

  • Cost: $200

Our group training is held at Lucky Dog and Out and About, depending on the level of the class. We offer classes for puppies, basic manners, intermediate manners, and advanced manners. Each week, we work on new skills and build upon what we have previously learned. Every class includes an outdoor portion where we apply what we have learned to the real world. These are smaller group classes, with a maximum of five dogs.

Private Training

  • 1 hour $80

  • Half hour $40

Private training can be held wherever it is most helpful: at clients' homes, our Lucky Dog location, or out and about. Private lessons can be beneficial for anyone struggling with a particular skill or behavior. They are especially helpful for people who need more attention than semi private training or group classes can provide. You will receive a customized training plan for the skills we are trying to improve.

Are you too busy to meet each week? There is also an option where our trainers work with just your dog during this timeframe, giving them a jump start on the skills we are trying to improve.

Play & Train

3 hour sessions $80

Are you looking for extra help in training your puppy or older dog? Drop them off for a three-hour training session with Catharine, a certified trainer. The focus will be on teaching training cues, socialization, exposure, and conditioning. Give your dog a head start and set them up for success!

Each group is limited to three dogs or puppies. Puppies under six months have a specific group, and dogs older than six months have their own group. Each session includes dogs that have compatible play styles, sizes, and ages. During the session, dogs receive one-on-one training time while the others learn to settle either on a bed or in a crate. This is a great way to continue working on training while providing exposure to distractions and controlled small group playtime.

If interested please fill out an application. Each play group runs on different days and times. Once we have received your application we will be in touch to get your dog into the appropriate group.

Drop-in Classes

  • Tuesday 6:15pm

  • $35 for an hour

Join us for our drop-in classes every Tuesday and Thursday at 6:15 PM. The cost is $30 for a one-hour session. These classes are open to all Lucky Dog clients who are currently enrolled in a class, have taken classes in the past, or have done private training.

These drop-in classes are a great opportunity to work on any skills you may be struggling with or to learn something new. It's also a fun time to bond with your dog. We can focus on tricks, conditioning, and even work on manners if needed. No sign-up is required for these drop-in classes.

Advanced Drop-in classes

  • $20 per hour session

Our advanced drop-in classes meet weekly at various local locations to practice and apply all the skills learned in real-world scenarios. These classes are by invitation only and are designed for those ready to advance to the next level after completing the advanced class with their dogs.

Hydrotherapy

  • One Session $55

  • 4 Pack $220

Hydrotherapy, or water therapy, involves using water for therapeutic purposes to improve health. Exercising in water provides buoyancy and resistance, allowing for muscle strengthening and conditioning without stress on joints. Bathing in hot water can dilate blood vessels, relax joints and muscles, and aid in healing injuries. For active dogs and other highly active breeds, recreational hydrotherapy can improve stamina, endurance, muscle strength, and athletic performance, and help prevent muscle strain and injuries.

Hydrotherapy sessions are set for thirty minutes, with the goal of having your dog work on the treadmill for twenty minutes. We may have to gradually increase this duration until we reach twenty minutes as your dog becomes more comfortable with the treadmill.

Every new client is required to attend a consultation before using the treadmill. This session ensures that your dog acclimates to our facility and the treadmill effectively. We never force any dogs into the treadmill, we will go at their pace and make them feel as comfortable as possible.
